North, as my favorite German, you really must tell me - are these friends of yours? If you've been withholding the fact that you know a codfather, I will be highly cross.

They take themselves rather seriously. Acid attacks, blowing up cars, planting bombs (fake or no). All on the orders of this codfather (no, not ever stopping saying that).

Don't take food related local wars lightly. In the 70s, the pizza trade in Chicago was as mobbed up as the liquor trade in the 30s. One local operator was dissuaded from expanding his business when they nailed his pizza peel to his hand in six locations. A major chain that was looking to expand into Chicago decided against it after their CEO was sent a collection of photographs of his children and wife in their day to day activities, suggesting that if he didn't back off, they might end their days as toppings.
