From my airport hell. How I managed to end up in the layover that seemed to span decades I will never know but at least I charmed my way into the first class lounge. Make friends with the airport staff, children, it will serve you very well.

Jet lag really has no hold on me any longer, thankfully, so I will instead be raiding the kitchen for something to eat and will probably follow that up with a trip to Harry's because it has been that kind of day.

Because I was given access to the first class lounge, wine and pretty men in suits. Those are really the only reasons that the airport is even still standing.

No worries, I am generally easily soothed with good drinks and better men. I also managed to claim several comfortable chairs and combined them into one weird cluster so I could sleep.

I think I'm going to have to try one of those meditating apps for the next work trip if I want to stay away from a body count, myself.

I actually have several, if you would like to take a look at them. Plus a rather extensive playlist of music that I find soothing. Both for long work trips and power issues.

I wonder what being a drink buying person would pay.
